The incident took place around 1:15 a.m. when a white Ford EC1 van collided with a black Chevrolet Tahoe, which was positioned across the eastbound lanes, according to the City of Houston.
Two people in a Tahoe were found dead at the scene after the vehicle was stopped horizontally on the road. The female driver of a Ford survived and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
