
A tragic car accident in Parkville is currently under investigation by Baltimore County authorities. Yesterday morning, a 2010 Acura TL traveling southbound on Harford Road took a deadly turn, ultimately claiming the lives of two individuals.
According to details provided by the Baltimore County Police Department, at around 1:55 a.m., the vehicle, driven by 32-year-old Jacob Espada, reportedly veered off the road, striking the rear of a parked tow truck after it overrode a curb on the intersection of Harford and Onyx roads. The force of the impact caused significant damage, and the responding Parkville Precinct officers found a scene of devastation upon arrival.
Espada was quickly transported to an area hospital for urgent medical attention but was later pronounced deceased. His passenger, 28-year-old Cheyanne Moats Reed, tragically did not survive the initial impact and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is investigating the crash and all possible causes. Detectives are examining road conditions, potential vehicle issues, and impairment.
