Stockton Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a homicide that occurred earlier this month. On the night of February 1, authorities were called to the scene of a shooting in the 6300 block of N El Dorado St. A 17-year-old boy was found with gunshot wounds and later died in the hospital.
The subsequent investigation led detectives on a nearly three-week search for those responsible. Yesterday, amid growing demand for justice, two young males, aged 13 and 16, were apprehended without incident in north Stockton. They are now facing homicide-related charges and have been booked into the San Joaquin County Juvenile Hall, as announced in a social media post from the Stockton Police Department.
The names of the involved juveniles have not been released due to their age. According to the post by the Stockton Police Department, this ongoing case continues to unfurl as detectives piece together the events that led up to the fatal shooting. The community is urged to come forward with any information.
