
Two suspects were apprehended last Saturday after an altercation in Linthicum led to a display of a handgun and threats, as reported by the Anne Arundel County Police Department via social media. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. when a confrontation ensued because a vehicle was blocking an entrance on the 1700 block of W. Nursery Road. One suspect brandished a firearm amidst the verbal spat.
Following the heated exchange, the suspects fled the scene, but an officer later located their vehicle on Elkridge Landing Road, where both individuals were positively identified; the firearm involved in the incident was recovered, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department's statement. The suspects, Darius Riddick, a 33-year-old from Knightdale, NC, and Joy Gary, a 44-year-old from Halifax, NC, were both placed under arrest following their identification by police.
