Universal Studios Hollywood is ushering in its annual Butterbeer Season, with a sprinkle of new and returning treats in store for visitors from March 1 to May 31, KTLA reports. The celebratory season, making its second appearance, invites fans of the Harry Potter series to indulge in a variety of Butterbeer-themed goodies, including a newcomer to the lineup: the Butterbeer Cream Puff, available exclusively at the Three Broomsticks restaurant.
According to a statement obtained by NBC Los Angeles, the new Butterbeer Cream Puff joins an already enchanting array of beverages and bites paying homage to the franchise's famed concoction. Patrons can also treat themselves to the Butterbeer-flavored chocolate bar and Butterbeer Caramel or get their hands on the Ice Lolly frozen dessert, which has earned its place as a year-round staple, no longer confined to seasonal availability.
Aside from edible delights, a range of merchandise themed after the popular wizarding beverage will be up for grabs. A collection including apparel and accessories will become available, offering park-goers a chance to flaunt their love for all things Butterbeer outside the park as well.
Fans looking forward to cooling down with a frozen Butterbeer or warming up with its hot counterpart can expect to enjoy these beverages in different forms, as detailed by NBC Los Angeles. A non-dairy option is also on the menu, catering to those with dietary restrictions. Even the spirit of Butterbeer will cloak visitors in warmth or chill, with the release of a new fleecy hoodie and tees destined to pop up during Butterbeer Season, Universal Studios Hollywood shared in an Instagram post.
As the curtains draw on May 31, Universal Studios Orlando Resort will join its Hollywood counterpart in bringing the Butterbeer Season festivities to a close. Until then, fans have a full three months to enjoy the magic and flavors that the season has to offer. For those planning a trip, remember that park admission is a prerequisite for partaking in the Butterbeer revelry.
