The North Las Vegas VA Medical Center has reinstated its valet parking service for veterans, according to announcements made on yesterday. The service is available at the East, West, and Emergency Department entrances from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, as reported by KTNV.
Jonathan Sanchez, VASNHS Engineering Chief, highlighted the importance of the service's return, stating, "The valet service creates better access for our Veterans." He added that this initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the veteran experience at the facility, as noted in a News3LV report.
The valet service is free of charge for veterans, and tipping is not allowed to ensure accessibility for all veterans, regardless of financial situation. VetPride Services, a contractor, operates the valet stations at the medical center to assist veterans.
The North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, located at 6900 N Pecos Road, serves as a healthcare facility for veterans.
