Tomorrow, White Settlement residents will be able to declutter and dispose of unwanted items in an environmentally responsible manner during the One Stop Recycle Drop event. According to a social media post from the City of White Settlement, the gathering will occur at the Municipal Complex, 8211 White Settlement Rd.
The event promises to be a recycling bonanza, where residents can properly dispose of various items, including household hazardous waste, shred important documents, and recycle electronics. Those intending to participate must provide a recent water bill as proof of residency. The accepted items list for household hazardous waste includes automotive fluids, fuels, batteries, and other potentially harmful materials. Paper shredding is available, but only for critical documents, explicitly excluding magazines or junk mail to manage space better.
Furthermore, attendees can recycle multiple forms of electronic waste, including desktop computers, monitors, and specialized equipment like medical electronics. This allows people to safely rid themselves of outdated technology in a way that is beneficial to creating more space at home and in the environment.
