A 34-year-old man from Woodinville died in a hit-and-run incident on State Route 92 near Granite Falls. The collision happened on Monday morning. The roadway was closed for about an hour, and the Washington State Patrol confirmed the westbound lane reopened by 8 a.m., as stated by KIRO 7.
An unidentified man was walking eastbound along the right shoulder of the highway near milepost 6 when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle, which fled the scene. KOMO News reported, "The WSP said the man died at the scene." At the time of their reporting, authorities had no information regarding the suspect's vehicle.
State Route 92 was closed for over two hours following a hit-and-run investigation, with the westbound lane reopening to alternating traffic before the full roadway reopened just before 9:40 a.m. on Monday, according to KING 5.
