A tragic three-car collision claimed the life of a 75-year-old Zephyrhills man and caused injuries to three others yesterday, as reported by multiple sources. The crash, which occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of US-301 and Kossick Road, involved a Ford Ranger, an Audi A3, and a Toyota Camry.

According to WFLA News Channel 8, the collision unfolded when the Ford Ranger attempted a left turn at the intersection and was struck by the Audi A3, which then collided with the Toyota Camry stopped at the red light, the sequence of events leading to tragic and unavoidable consequences.

The Tampa Free Press identified the drivers of the Audi and Toyota as a 26-year-old man from Tarpon Springs and a 60-year-old woman from Plant City, respectively.

The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the driver of the Ford Ranger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Audi and Camry drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment, as detailed in an update by the Zephyrhills Free Press on Facebook. Additionally, two passengers in the Toyota Camry were involved in the incident, with one escaping unharmed while the other was also injured and taken to the hospital.
