Emergency Medical Services arrived promptly and transported Sanchez to Lincoln Hospital, but efforts to save his life were unsuccessful. The shooter fled the scene after the attack and is now being sought by authorities. Detectives are canvassing the neighborhood in search of surveillance footage that may help identify the gunman.
