According to the Austin Police Department statement, the suspect is a Hispanic male in his mid-20s, standing around 5'4" tall, weighing approximately 130 lbs with a thin build and brown, shaggy hair. It appears he may reside in the vicinity of the crime scene. During the robbery, the suspect wore a blue, long-sleeved SMU crewneck sweatshirt and blue denim jeans, and he was armed with a knife.
The police are actively canvassing the area and have requested that anyone with information contact APD's Robbery unit directly at 512-974-5092. Additionally, individuals looking to provide anonymous tips can do so by reaching out to the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program. Tips leading to an arrest may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
