A man has been arrested and indicted in relation to a series of indecent exposures involving children on a Beaverton school bus, with police urging potential victims to come forward. On February 10, students aboard a Beaverton school bus reported a man, later identified as Michael Patrick Enns Jr., had pulled up in a black Toyota Tacoma and engaged in lewd conduct while positioned next to the moving bus.
According to KATU, the incident intensified as Enns Jr. followed the bus into a restricted parking area where students were disembarking, continuing his explicit behavior. Quick-thinking students managed to capture the suspect's vehicle and license plate on their phones, providing crucial evidence to authorities. Beaverton Police acted upon this information, and Enns Jr. was arrested on February 27, with charges of public indecency following shortly after.
The investigative efforts by Beaverton Police revealed that this might not be an isolated incident. As reported by KOIN, the authorities believe there may be additional unreported events linked to Enns. Compounding concerns are Enns' prior offenses; in 2022, he was arrested for similar conduct in southeast Portland and subsequently placed on probation.
