Montgomery County Police are seeking public assistance in apprehending 24-year-old Tyrone Harrington, who is alleged to have committed several thefts at retailers across Bethesda. In a string of incidents lasting from August to December 2024, Harrington has been pinpointed as one of the culprits lifting copious goods from high-traffic stores like CVS Pharmacy, Gap, and Target, as reported through an official release on the Montgomery County Government website.
An arrest warrant for Harrington was issued this past February, levying him with multiple counts of theft and associated charges; however, authorities have yet to place him in custody and he is believed to be continuing his spate of thefts in areas surrounding Montgomery County, according to evidence gathered by detectives.
Not working alone, detectives are on the lookout for a second suspect linked to Harrington – a Black female with distinctive red hair, described as heavyset and within the age range of late teens to early twenties, though, no further specifics on her identity have been unearthed at this juncture.
