A significant drug interception took place at the Roma Port of Entry as U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents seized cocaine with an estimated street value exceeding $3.6 million. The bust went down on Wednesday, with agents stopping a tractor trailer loaded with a mixed commodity shipment that required inspection, as reported by CBS Austin.
During the meticulous search, officers discovered 110 packages harboring an approximate total of 124.86 kilograms, or 275.22 pounds, of suspected cocaine. The narcotics were ingeniously concealed within the legitimate cargo of the trailer.
