The Boulder City Police Department took to social media to provide a recap of their February activities, emphasizing their continued commitment to keeping the community safe. According to the Boulder City Police Department Facebook post, Boulder City officers diligently handled a range of duties that included 1,488 calls for service, conducting 467 traffic stops and making 50 arrests throughout the month. Notably, 26 of these arrests were for suspected driving while impaired.
In addition to regular enforcement activities, the Boulder City Police Department also provided support across various events. Their officers were seen to actively participate in the annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in coordination with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). The department further worked within the Southern Nevada Traffic Task Force to address traffic-related concerns and enforcement. However, not all the events attended were for public order, as the officers also took time to pay respects at a funeral service for NLVPD fallen officer Jason Roscow, with their Honor Guard team taking a central role in the memorial proceedings.
