Sheriff Wayne Ivey expressed his affection for Junny, stating, "Rest easy Bud Bud, you will always be in my heart."

During his service, Junny held the position of mascot for the Sheriff's Office and, in 2018, stepped up as Sheriff Ivey's partner. Junny showed dedication to his role, and the affection between him and the sheriff was apparent. The loss has resonated deeply with the sheriff and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, who plan to make arrangements for the community to honor him.
