A somber discovery was made at a Keizer In-N-Out Burger parking lot where a 33-year-old California man was found dead in his car. An employee first noticed the vehicle, a Toyota Prius, had remained stationary for an unusual length of time. Keizer Police, upon arrival, encountered the man's body and later deemed the death to be a suicide, as confirmed by KOIN.
The Keizer Police Department temporarily closed the parking area for investigation, which led to minor delays and restricted access around the 6280 Keizer Station Boulevard establishment. "Drivers can expect short delays and some restricted access to areas surrounding the restaurant property," said a spokesperson for the police. The subsequent findings pointed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound as the cause of death, with the victim pronounced deceased on the scene, as stated by KGW.
Law enforcement identified the deceased man, who was from California, and informed his family. The incident caused the parking lot near I-5 to be closed for hours, disrupting both customers and bystanders, as shared by KPTV.
