According to a report by the Columbus Division of Police, George Greer was crossing Morse Road, just east of Tamarack Boulevard, when a white Honda Accord struck him around 9:47 pm on March 13. The impact left Greer in a life-threatening condition, prompting an urgent transport to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the white Honda Accord remained at the scene after the crash – a move that at least spared responders the added hunt for a hit-and-run suspect.
