Chaos erupted on a usually quiet Columbus street late last night when gunshots shattered the peace of Webster Canyon Court. According to a press release by the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to the 2200 block of Webster Canyon Ct. at around 9:24 p.m. yesterday following reports of a shooting.
A victim identified only as M.G. was discovered with a gunshot wound. Despite the violence of the act, the individual was reported to be in stable condition after being transported to a local hospital. The events that led to the shooting remain under investigation, and authorities are keen to quickly uncover any information that might lead to an understanding of what transpired that night.
As the community reels from the gunshot that punctuated their evening, the Columbus Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward and help clarify this event. Detective B.
