Authorities in Hawai‘i are asking for the community's help in finding John Lilly, a 56-year-old Pāhoa resident who has been missing since February 18. As noted in a public report by the Hawaii Police Department, Lilly was observed departing from his home in the Hawaiian Beaches area but failed to return that same day. The case was brought to the attention of the police several weeks later, on March 10.
Lilly's last known attire included a tank top of an unmentioned color, gym shorts, and sandals. He is described as Caucasian and stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall. He is recognizable by his gray hair and blue eyes.
The police department's non-emergency number, (808)-935-3311, has been circulated for anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward. Anyone who has seen Lilly or has relevant information is urged to contact the local police.
