Overnight, Dallas is bracing to be hit by a bout of showers between midnight and 3 a.m., followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 a.m. The chance of precipitation is pegged at 40 percent, with increasing clouds and temperatures dropping to around 48 degrees.
The weekend weather will keep residents on their toes, with Saturday likely to bring showers and a thunderstorm. Skies will be cloudy with a high near 55 degrees, alongside a north northeast wind 10 to 15 mph that could reach gusts of up to 25 mph. The chance of precipitation on Saturday is significant, at 60 percent. Come Saturday night, there’s a 40 percent chance that showers will continue until midnight, eventually leaving behind mostly cloudy skies and a low around 41 degrees.
As Sunday dawns, Dallas is forecasted to witness a break in the wet weather, with mostly sunny skies awaiting and a high creeping up to near 63 degrees. The north-northwest wind is expected to remain gentle at around five mph. Clear skies will take over Sunday night, with temperatures dipping to about 42 degrees. Looking ahead to Monday, the city should be ready to fully embrace the sunshine, with highs expected to reach near 73 degrees come the afternoon.
