According to police reports, Noble's crime spree included the theft of a car from which he would carry out a bank robbery in Preston Road. Shortly thereafter, he threatened employees and acquired another vehicle on Lemmon Avenue, Noble, who is believed to be in his 60s, then proceeded to make an unsuccessful carjacking attempt at another business on the same avenue, and later fired a gun at a school in Webb Chapel Road to steal a third car after a crash on Rosser Road he carjacked a vehicle with a parent and child inside. Throughout the day, Noble would abandon and steal several more cars across the county, culminating in a police pursuit and his eventual capture on Singleton Boulevard.
The intense manhunt and subsequent arrest were aided by the usage of the Flock camera system, which helped track the stolen vehicles as Noble moved throughout the area. The Dallas SWAT team ultimately took Noble into custody after he refused to exit the vehicle during a traffic stop.
