The Detroit Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating Victorihonest Edwards, a 14-year-old girl reported missing since Sunday. Edwards, described as suffering from depression and bipolar disorder, was last seen at a residence on Yorkshire Road, which is nestled between Waveney and Cornwall streets. The search for Edwards is a matter of urgency, given her young age and mental health concerns. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. At the time of her departure, Edwards was wearing a burgundy jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, and black leggings.
In an effort to increase awareness, the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons Unit turned to social media, asking anyone with information to come forward and requesting the community's help: "Please help us find missing Victorihonest Edwards. If you have any information, please call Detroit's 5th Precinct at (313) 596-5540 or 911," according to their social media post.
