The Detroit Police Department has issued a plea for assistance in locating 74-year-old Ervin Brewer, who went missing last Saturday. According to a report by ClickOnDetroit, Brewer was last seen at his residence on the 20200 block of Fleming Street and failed to return home.
Concern has been heightened due to Brewer's medical condition; his sister reported that he has mental health issues and is known to experience seizures. He was last seen wearing a gray coat with fur on the hood, a blue shirt, and black jeans. Brewer is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, and has brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair.
In an effort to broaden the search, the Detroit Police Department's Missing persons unit also turned to social media. In a Facebook post, they stated, "Please help us find serious missing Ervin Brewer. If you have any information, please call Detroit's 11th Precinct at (313) 596-1140 or 911."
