According to the City of Duncanville, the two-hour cleanup spree, a community endeavor, ensues under the umbrella of the Keep Texas Beautiful program. This program strives to engage citizens to care for their environment directly and proactively. Mayor Greg Contreras said, "Keeping Duncanville clean is a team effort." He encouraged everyone "to come out, roll up their sleeves, and show their pride in our city." Supplies to ensure the safety and efficiency of volunteers, including gloves, trash bags, and safety vests, will be provided to support the cleanup mission.

Keep Duncanville Beautiful has launched two art competitions to bridge creativity with environmental awareness. While youngsters from K through 5th grade can participate in a coloring competition with a promise of a pizza party for the class with the highest involvement, students in grades 6 through 12 can try to compete to design Duncanville's official litter campaign, with top-tier tech goods like a PlayStation 5 and iPad up for grabs.
