The high school soccer scene in El Paso is buzzing with excitement as six teams from the El Paso ISD have punched their tickets to the Area playoffs. Both the boys' and girls' squads have secured their Bi-District Championship titles, stepping a notch higher in their game as they target the UIL state championship. According to El Paso ISD, representing them in the upcoming challenges will be three girls' teams: Andress, El Paso High, and Chapin, and matching their stride on the boys' side are teams from Bowie, Burges, and Irvin.

With an air of expectation swirling around the teams, David Cervantes, El Paso ISD's Executive Director of Athletics, didn't hold back his praises for the players. "We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes and their dedication to representing El Paso ISD at the highest level," he gushed, as per El Paso ISD, as he encouraged the El Paso community to lend their support. With the taste of victory still fresh from their Bi-District Championships, these teams appear all set for the rigors of the Area playoffs, which for the girls begins Tuesday, March 25.

The girls' soccer programs are gearing up for an eventful day, with Andress slated to take on Lubbock Monterey in Artesia, NM, at 4 p.m. MST. Meanwhile, the El Paso High girls will be battling it out against Amarillo at Astound Stadium in Midland, TX, with the kick-off at 1:30 p.m. MST. Following suit, the Chapin girls will also take the field at Astound Stadium, facing off against Amarillo Tascosa at 4 p.m. MST.

As for the boys, Irvin has already shown their mettle on the pitch against Bridgeport today, March 24. Showing their game at the same venue, Bowie and Burges are all set to demonstrate their skill on Tuesday, March 25. Bowie has a noon face-off with Graham and Burges will round out the day in a 6 p.m. MST clash against Palo Duro. All matches promise to be a showcase of young talent and local enthusiasm as the El Paso community fiercely rallies behind their teams.
