Another DUI arrest has come to light in the Town of Windsor following a car collision at a local Burger King. Yesterday, around 3:18 pm, deputies responded to an incident reported at the Hembree Lane. There, they discovered that 30-year-old Thomas McCreary from Eldorado Hills had collided with a parked vehicle and was allegedly trying to flee the scene. According to the Town of Windsor Police Department's social media post, McCreary was also observed concealing items from his car in a landscaping bush nearby.

This wasn't McCreary's first brush with law enforcement recently, as he was arrested the day before in a different parking lot for being under the influence of inhalants. Witnesses described him as appearing to be under the influence and behaving very erratically. In their investigation at the scene, deputies could quickly locate the items McCreary had attempted to hide away.

The Town of Windsor Police Department's release included several used Nitrous canisters and empty nitrous oxide boxes among the hidden items. A further search of McCreary's vehicle revealed additional bottles of nitrous oxide, a substance commonly abused for its euphoric effects but known to be exceedingly dangerous.
