Early yesterday morning, a pedestrian was tragically killed on State Route 2 in Snohomish. The victim, whose identity is unknown, was struck by at least one car and possibly a semi-truck, as reported by KIRO 7. The incident took place in the westbound lanes of SR-2 at 88th Street SE, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and medical teams.
The details of the collision are unclear, but it is believed that the pedestrian was walking on the highway at the time. KING 5 reported that the accident occurred around 5:45 a.m. The highway was closed in both directions for investigation.
