The parking lot at 6305 Dumfries Drive is the scene of a late-night dispute that ended in gunfire and a death. In a statement obtained by Click2Houston, Lt. JP Horelica of the Houston Police Department recounted the initial reports: two men in a heated altercation, a third attempting to defuse the situation, which devastatingly shifted when one man drew a firearm and shot the other before fleeing the scene.
Authorities were called to the scene around 11:15 p.m. last night, where the Houston Fire Department pronounced the victim dead on the scene, as reported by FOX26 Houston. Trying to escape the violent scene, both the suspect and the man who tried to intervene left before law enforcement arrived.
