Fayetteville residents can expect street repairs and paving as the city continues its infrastructure improvements. Starting today, work will begin in the Quail Hollow neighborhood off Redwine Road. This is part of a larger project that recently completed paving on East Georgia Avenue.

According to the City of Fayetteville release, residents in Quail Hollow will have access to their homes during the repaving, but traffic control measures will be in place. Parking on the streets will be restricted while contractors lay new asphalt.

On Monday next week, contractors will begin work on a section of Lester Road, near Bennett’s Mill Middle School and Cleveland Elementary School, to minimize disruption during spring break.

While the work is focused off main roads, there may be times when Lester Road traffic is affected. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously around construction areas. Updates on these projects can be found on the City of Fayetteville's website and social media channels.
