Residents of Boulder City experienced a jarring interruption last evening as a fire broke out in the vicinity of Wyoming and Avenues C and D. The Boulder City Police Department took to social media to urge the public to steer clear of the area, emphasizing the urgency for space as the Boulder City Fire Department tackled the blaze.
Initially reported at an unspecified time before the social media updates, the situation seemed to escalate quickly, prompting an immediate response from local emergency services. The ordeal left one person hospitalized with smoke inhalation and minor burns according to a later update by the Boulder City Police Department.
