A two-vehicle collision in Scottsdale has resulted in injuries to five individuals and led to the hospitalization of two children. The incident occurred at the intersection of Shea Boulevard and Via Linda. FOX 10 Phoenix reports that two of the injured parties are being treated at local trauma centers.
In the course of making the area safe, Scottsdale Police indicated that the westbound Shea Boulevard will be closed at 110th Street for a duration that has not been determined. Officials have designated Cactus Road as a recommended alternate route in the aftermath of the crash. According to the ABC 15 report, the two children were transported to Phoenix Children's Hospital for what are being described as serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
