A tragic hit-and-run incident on Sand Lake Road in Orange County claimed the life of an unidentified male pedestrian yesterday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. As reported by ClickOrlando, the collision occurred around 11:57 p.m. near Winegard Road when the victim, riding a motorized bicycle, was struck by what witnesses believe could be a black vehicle that fled the scene, unfortunately leaving the pedestrian with fatal injuries that led to his death at a hospital.
The search for the hit-and-run driver intensified as the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) called on the public for information. They urged anyone who knew details about the vehicle—likely with front grill damage and broken headlights—to come forward.
