
The grim outcome of an altercation at Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas has left a community reeling as officials from the Clark County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 23-year-old Na'Onche Osborne, who succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds in an incident ruled a homicide. The deceased was the son of former North Las Vegas mayoral candidate and Nevada State Senator Pat Spearman, according to FOX5 Vegas.
In a past clouded by legal troubles, Osborne was reportedly involved in a shooting at Spearman’s own home in October 2022 during which he was accused of smoking marijuana in the presence of a younger relative, while the victim of that shooting survived, Osborne faced legal consequences, he was sentenced to 364 days with a credit of 204 days for time served, news of the sentence was reported by News 3LV. The North Las Vegas Police Department and surrounding jurisdictions joined forces in the wake of the recent casino shooting to apprehend the suspect.
Nineteen-year-old Aerion Warmsley emerged as the primary suspect in the fatal event and, following a valley-wide pursuit including at least three reported carjackings, was ultimately arrested; the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department credited with taking Warmsley into custody, who is now held at the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center without bail, as chronicled by FOX5 Vegas.
