Details of the case reveal a disturbing incident that took place on November 29, 2022, where Pearson reportedly exposed himself to his 16-year-old female neighbor and subsequently touched her inappropriately. The impact was severe, with the victim testifying that the trauma had infiltrated "every aspect of her life." This harrowing statement was backed by Assistant District Attorneys Melinda Hogan & Stuart Neal, Investigator Brian Johnson, and Victim Coordinator Angela Stevens, all of whom contributed to bringing the case to its conclusion.
Further compounding the gravity of Pearson's actions is his prior criminal history. This is not the first instance of Pearson engaging in harmful behavior, as he has previous convictions for injury to a child and felony assault of a family member. As the case unfolded, two of Pearson's former partners detailed the physical abuse they suffered at his hands, also disclosing his propensity to torture animals, adding layers to his pattern of violence and mistreatment.
