
Frisco residents should gear up to navigate the slew of roadway projects launching in the area. According to the City of Frisco's latest alert, disruptions are expected due to new pavement repairs on Old Lebanon Rd. and ongoing pavement replacements at multiple locations, including FM 423 at Del Webb Blvd. and 5516 Lexington PL.
Motorists taking NB Teel Pkwy. at Timber Ridge, Dr. will also have to plan their commutes carefully as work here is in full swing. Officials estimate that each project will take roughly two weeks to complete, but this is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Drivers should allow extra travel time or seek alternative routes during these construction periods.
Focusing on intersection enhancements, daily lane closures are slated for key crossroads. Work commenced on January 6 at the Warren Parkway and Preston Road intersection, causing disruptions expected to linger into the afternoons. The end of March 2025 sees the anticipated completion of improvements at Coit Rd. and SH 121. In the interim, drivers should prepare for traffic snarls from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
