Early last Saturday in Galt, a routine patrol led to the arrest of three Stockton individuals during a traffic stop on N. Lincoln Way. The Galt Police Department said officers were watching closed businesses when they spotted a suspicious white pickup truck. They stopped it for an equipment violation and found the occupants—one on parole and another on probation—in possession of "tools commonly used in commercial burglaries."
The investigation allowed officers to quickly secure the site. The Galt Police Department stated in a social media post, "All three were arrested for 466 PC – Possession of Burglary Tools." Authorities have not released their names as they investigate possible connections to other crimes in Galt and beyond.
According to the Galt Police Department on their Facebook page, officers recently responded to an incident in a commercial area during late-night hours, resulting in an arrest. The department acknowledged the "Outstanding proactive efforts by our graveyard team!" in their post. While details of the case are still unfolding, police continue their efforts to secure the area as the investigation progresses.
