A grim scene unfolded near Georgetown last Friday, leading to the arrest of 34-year-old Amadeo Guillermo Arce. According to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a residence in the 100 block of Jennifer Circle after a 9-1-1 call reported a death resulting from an alleged altercation between roommates.
CBS Austin reports that authorities responded swiftly to the distressing call. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered the deceased victim, 36-year-old Megan Frances Hood. The nature of the incident has been initially cataloged by police as physical violence. However, the investigation is ongoing, and the exact circumstances leading to the tragic event remain, at this point, elusive.
Following the incident, WCSO personnel took Guillermo Arce into custody. He has been charged with felony family violence, though KVUE notes that these charges may be subject to change as detectives piece together the sequence of events that led to the violence on Jennifer Circle.
