
A man was injured in a shooting in Glen Burnie, with police arriving at the scene yesterday afternoon to find his vehicle's windshield riddled with bullet holes. The incident took place in the area of Candlelight Lane and Heritage Hill after shooters in a car reportedly opened fire on a parked vehicle, wounding the man inside.
According to WMAR-2 News, authorities found the victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and rushed him to Shock Trauma for treatment. As of now, details on the suspect remain undisclosed.
Officials were called to the 200 block of Candle Light Lane at around 2:55 p.m. Anne Arundel County police are actively trying to piece together the event and haven't ruled out the possibility that another victim may be involved. "Officers are scouring the area, looking for any evidence of the crime," Anne Arundel County police spokesman Marc Limansky stated, as reported by WBAL-TV. "We're looking for any evidence on the ground, any shell casings, any projectiles, any houses that were struck, any potential victims." The inquiry into the shooting remains ongoing, with police diligently searching for additional evidence and witnesses.
