Details have emerged of multiple charges against a Glendale nursing assistant for the sexual abuse of an elderly patient. Larry Stanfill, 20, from Tujunga, stands accused of abusing a seriously disabled or medically incapacitated individual, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, as reported by CBS Los Angeles. The assault allegedly occurred at least twice in November 2024 at the Glendale Post Acute Center, where Stanfill worked.

After posting bail, Stanfill was released, although the gravity of the charges has prompted a broader investigation. Stanfill has an employment history at various convalescent facilities in the region, including Chandler Convalescent Hospital in Glendale between August 2021 and May 2023 and the Pasadena Park Healthcare and Wellness Center in Pasadena from May 2023 to August 2024, Glendale police told GlendaleCA.gov. An additional stint was served at a yet-unnamed facility in El Monte between August 2024 and October 2024.

Authorities are actively seeking more information in an effort to identify any additional victims. The Glendale Police Department's Assaults Unit is handling the case and has made a public call for any others with relevant information or who may have suffered similar abuses to come forward. A photo of the accused has been released in the hopes it will help in the identification of other potential victims.

Individuals with knowledge of the case or who wish to report additional incidents are urged to contact detectives by calling (818) 548-3106, the number provided by the Glendale Police Department's Assault Unit.
