
The Grapevine Police Department recently held its much-anticipated annual awards banquet, where it celebrated the local heroes of its Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) program. The event, detailed in a social media post by the department, acknowledged the dedication of 56 individuals who committed time equivalent to that of eight full-time employees.
"Their work is invaluable are we are forever grateful," the Grapevine Police Department expressed, celebrating the fusion of community and service brought about by the volunteers.
