Beachgoers and picnickers planning to visit Hanalei Pavilion Beach Park at the end of March and the beginning of April will need to adjust their plans, according to an announcement from the Department of Parks and Recreation. The Hanalei Pavilion and its parking lot are set for closure from Monday to April 11 to allow for construction work focused on maintenance and repairs to the septic system.
Repairs to public facilities are necessary for safety and sustainability. Residents and visitors are asked for patience during the work.
