On Sunday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office responded to a crash on the 500 block of N Sam Houston Pkwy E, where they encountered driver Edgar Cierra, who was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
According to a social media post from the Constable's office, Cierra underwent a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which are typically administered before more serious consequences for those who fail. After the tests confirmed his intoxication, authorities proceeded to arrest him on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
Edgar Cierra was arrested and taken into custody at the Harris County Jail on charges of Driving While Intoxicated. His bond has been set at $100.00 by County Court 15, as reported by Constable Mark Herman's office.
