
The Henderson Police Department is currently investigating a fatal accident that took a place yesterday, leaving an 86-year-old woman dead at the scene. According to the official report from the City of Henderson, responders from both the Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to College Drive and Boulder Highway at approximately 11:26 a.m. following reports of the single-vehicle accident.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a white Hyundai SUV was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of College Drive when the vehicle veered off the road and rolled over. The elderly female driver was found deceased by HPD officers and HFD paramedics upon their arrival. Speed has been considered a contributing factor to the incident, whereas the potential impairment of the driver remains under investigation.
At this juncture, the Henderson Police have not revealed any additional details, citing the ongoing nature of their inquiry. The collision has been noted as the second accident-related fatality recorded in Henderson for the year 2025.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the name of the decedent once next of kin notifications have been completed.
