Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office found themselves at the scene of a stranded vehicle late last month, with the driver asleep and in a condition that led to her arrest. The incident unfolded on Hardy Toll Road, around the 21800 block, where Katty Diaz was discovered behind the wheel, displaying clear signs of intoxication, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
After conducting a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, officials determined Diaz was indeed intoxicated. The situation escalated, when upon searching her vehicle, a firearm was located within. The discovery of the weapon led to additional charges beyond the initial suspicion of drunk driving, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
In a turn of events detailed on the Facebook page of Harris County Constable Precinct 4, Diaz faced the consequences of her actions. "Katty Diaz was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Her total bond was set at $200.00 out of County Court 9," the post stated.
