
Authorities in Houston are probing a deadly single-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon at 4300 Tidwell Road. The incident, which resulted in the death of a 57-year-old man whose identity has not been released, took place around 4:30 p.m. as reported by the City of Houston.
As per the Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. James and Officer F. Serna, the man was driving a blue Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on Tidwell Road. In an unexpected turn of events, the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree situated on the median. Emergency personnel from the Houston Fire Department were quick to respond, extracting the driver from the wreckage and rushing him to a hospital. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead following the accident. No other individuals or vehicles were implicated in the crash, the details of which continue to be under investigation, according to the City of Houston.
The investigation is trying to figure out what caused the fatal accident.
