
A man was arrested and charged in connection to a fatal stabbing that occurred at a local Houston office building, law enforcement officials said. The Houston Police Department has charged Masiullah Sahil, 37, with the murder of a 34-year-old man, who was discovered with multiple stab wounds at 7111 Harwin Drive on Wednesday evening, in a statement made by the City of Houston News. The identity of the victim is still pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Bounds and C. Davidson reported that patrol officers and paramedics responded to a call about an unresponsive individual inside an office, where they pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Following an investigation, Sahil was arrested by Midwest Patrol Division officers in the 7400 block of Fondren Road without incident. He has since admitted to his involvement in the crime. "Sahil admitted to his role in the incident," as per the details released by the City of Houston News. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and charges were subsequently filed against Sahil, who was later booked into the Harris County Jail.
