
Houston authorities are investigating a fatal incident in which a 42-year-old man was found dead with a stab wound after a vehicle crashed into a roadside ditch on Maggie Street at 3900 last night, according to the Houston Police Department (HPD).
The victim, whose name has not yet been released pending confirmation from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was found by HPD officers responding to the stabbing report around 8:25 p.m. After being transported to a nearby hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries, as reported by the City of Houston.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Davis and C. Davidson are overseeing the investigation, but at this stage, no witnesses or suspects have been identified, which is affecting the progress of the case.
