Houston is addressing the aftermath of an incident that occurred last Friday night. Houston police are investigating a fatal stabbing that took place at 6000 Gulf Freeway, as reported by the City of Houston. The victim, 23-year-old Otto Pop Coc, was found on the South Interstate Highway 45 service road around 10:20 p.m.
According to a statement from the City of Houston, HPD patrol officers were dispatched to a stabbing call and found a man running along the roadway seeking help. A bystander, who did not witness the stabbing, saw the man with blood on his shirt, provided first aid, and contacted emergency services. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced Mr. Pop Coc dead. As of this report, investigators have not determined a motive or provided a description of any suspects.
The investigation is being conducted by HPD Homicide Division's E. Torres, A. Graf, and A. Ledford. HPD is asking anyone with information regarding the case to come forward.
