The Houston community has been shaken by the mysterious death of a 34-year-old woman found unresponsive at her residence earlier this week. Houston police officers, reacting to a distress call, discovered the woman's body at approximately 12:05 p.m. on Monday, at her home located at 7134 Quince Street, as reported by City of Houston News. The identity and cause of death are currently withheld, pending further investigation and verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives V. Nguyen and D. Hobson are leading the investigation into the tragedy. The woman, whose name has not been released, was found by a family member and pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. Detectives are also examining the condition of her common-law husband, Raynaldo Coronado, who was found impaired in a nearby bedroom, adding another layer to the mystery. Coronado has since been hospitalized and charged with an unrelated narcotics offense.
Autopsy results are anticipated to shed light on the woman's cause of death, solidifying the foundation upon which detectives build their case.
